3 must taste Moroccan dishes


Morocco has one of the richest and most delicious Cuisine in the world, it’s as variable as its culture and land. However there is a common taste between all the regions because of vegetables, meat, herb, spices …used. Here are 3 Top common and delicious and healthy dishes you must try either during your tour to Morocco or in Moroccan restaurant in the world.
Couscous: If a Moroccan guy invited to lunch on Friday don’t hesitate and join him, because mostly they would have prepared Couscous, Couscous is mostly served on Fridays in Morocco since it’s a feast day. Couscous is made of wheat flour pellets with stewed meat usually chicken or beef, in addition to a variety of vegetables (4 to 7 vegetables), beans (sometimes dried grapes), and herb all this flavored with species. It served hot or warm eaten with a spoon.



Tagine: Tagine is one of the basics meals in the Moroccan Cuisine, what distinguishes the tagine is the way it cooked and the pot in which it cooked and served, because Tagine is the name of the dish and aalso traditional pot, tagine is a clay pot like a little deep plate with a long cover, Tagine like most Moroccan dishes base on vegetables, (there are some tagines without vegetables but with other ingredients) which puts in layers inside the tagine with chicken, lamb, Kefta or fish and let cook on a law temperature fire even though it doesn’t takes too much time to be ready because of the clay Tagine. Although it may seems a little fatty it’s not because there is only vegetables and the oil used is not any it’s olive traditional oil which is very healthy and rich, besides the taste can’t be resisted eaten, eaten with Ksra

Bastilla: or the Moroccan pizza Bastilla it’s a large pie filled with chicken or other sort of meat layers of egg, rice, fish, parsley and flavored with spices all this blending to give a yummy and irresistible healthy snack because bastille doesn’t served as a main meal, that’s why new or other food mainly pizza prepared in the Bastilla way.
